The beautiful beaches of Pensacola Beach, Santa Rosa, where there are over fifty two miles of pristine beachfront expeditions to be had, from tanning for a day or two to swimming and boating and even collecting seashells, which is an enjoyable thing for most to do, especially on Pensacola Beach’s shores as the tide brings in quite a lot of sea shells to choose from.
Something else that most people like to do in the warmer months, which many enjoy, is to watch sea turtles come onto the shore and dig out their nests before laying their eggs but do not disturb the turtles though, as their nesting spots are very delicate and they are also protected.
Pensacola Beach is one of the best places in Florida to chill pout for the weekend or spend a whole fun filled family vacation. The town annually celebrates it European roots, which is quite a party to attend and usually the whole city joins in on the fun.
Hanging over the emerald green waters of the gulf is the city’s pier, which is over 1472 feet long and extending out to very deep waters. It’s also the longest recorded pier over the Gulf.
Of course, the main attraction of the pier, without a doubt is fishing from it but you can go to marvel at the passing marine life too, manta rays and sharks and even dolphins and manatees pass by quite often towards the end of the pier.
The sands near the pier make a great place to stretch out while enjoying the clean air and beautiful waters.
For the fishermen that come to the pier, you can find everything you would need on your fishing day. The bait shop set right at the start of it carries all the goods you will need; from the freshest live bait to pole rentals as well.
Snacks and drinks are found in the shop along with some great fishing pointers too. If you are not on the pier to fish you can snag a bench to relax and enjoy the sunrise or sunset, it’s always amazing over the Gulf.
Another great spot to spend some time and remain with great access to the water sports of the beach is the quiet boardwalk, where there are many local shops that can provide everything you need for your beach day, so if you forget your tanning lotion it’s no problem.
The boardwalk also has some great dining options such as an onsite Hooters restaurant; they serve the best wings in the world at least many think so.
When the night comes, checkout the seaside bar, the club can be reached from a boat or car it doesn’t really matter.
There is another to go to, which has TVs, tuned mostly sports channels and it’s the Panhandles biggest outside nightclub.
You are sure to have fun just relaxing or dancing or even just enjoying the crowd and ocean views from the holiday home and vacation rentals you have chosen.
The kids will enjoy the boardwalk too, with a stick-on tattoo. Of course, parents can have their own style of fun and enjoy a drink too.
The area is just an all around fun to be had destination.
Pensacola Beach has it all, when it comes to the way of beach life, that’s its main attraction, from relaxing in nature to a little bit of partying.
The city is a great place for all ages and its hotspots are just about always open for visitors to come and enjoy, night or day. It’s no wonder so many people come each year to grace its shores.
